The Cosmic Story: The Planetary Energies Leading up to 2012 1:15pm

Many cultures speak of our times as the ending of an age, especially the Mayan prophecy of 2012.  Kathy will discuss some stories about the changing of the ages, and the astrological energies we will be dealing with in the next 3 years.  The 60s are back! Cathy Pagano is a Jungian psychotherapist, mythic astrologer, wisdom coach and story teller. You can see her next in February 2010; she will be hosting "How to Become a Wise Woman and Change the World: The Archetypal Feminine Journey to Freedom."

Expand your state of consciousness!  Since the dawn of time, even before the birth of spoken language, humans have been singing.  Our time together will blend breath, sound and vocal techniques to create a sacred circle of song.  Please come prepared to open your mind, open your voice, and open your heart.  No singing experience is necessary, all are welcome!

The Lotus Chakra method of clearing and energizing the 7 main chakras, from her book "Be Blesséd: Daily Devotions for Busy Wiccans and Pagans" (New Page 2006). Denise Dumars, M.A., has written for such publications as Fate, Sagewoman, Llewellyn's Magical ALmanac and Teen Witch Datebook. A former film journalist, she now teaches college English. She is an eclectic Isian and Neo-Pagan, and has long been part of the Losa Angeles occult scene.

This presentation will address both the historical and modern roots of Druidry as practiced today. The major Druidic organizations in the US and elsewhere in the world will be discussed in overview including mention of their similarities and differences. Finally, we will take a more in depth look at Ár nDraíocht Féin, the US-based organization supporting a druid congregation here in Las Vegas.
